My pregnancy and birth philosophy
Yoga is about getting out of your head and into your body and it’s the same for childbirth. I believe pregnancy can be a time to build self-trust to allow our bodies to birth our babies beautifully.
My role as your teacher
I support women as a pregnancy yoga teacher to prepare for the transformational experience of childbirth. When we become mothers we change into a new version of ourselves and as your prenatal yoga teacher I help you rediscover the knowledge and self-trust you have within to journey through this rite of passage.
I have worked with hundreds of women teaching pregnancy yoga. I’m also a mother of two and I’ve had two very different birth experiences which have taught me that there no perfect way to give birth. However, by using the time during pregnancy to prepare, you can achieve an authentic and intuitive birth, regardless of the circumstances and environment.
What you can expect from me
I approach my teaching with honesty and without judgement. I believe you know what is best for you and your baby and my mission is to create space for you to discover that for yourself.
What I expect from you
I hope that you approach my classes with an open mind and with kindness towards yourself. Building self-trust is the best way to prepare for birth and motherhood so I expect you to find the answers for yourself, supported my me and the women around you.
My vision for the future of birth
I believe childbirth is a rite of passage and women should be centered and supported, without judgement, through this journey regardless of how they decide to birth their babies.
